Military Doctor
Duties and Responsibilities: Addresses jobs in the medical, dental and veterinary fields. These MOSs cover a variety of responsibilities throughout the military health care field, from clinical setting to point of injury.
Salary: As of 2013 they earn $65,544 annually.
Education: You must obtain a bachelor’s degree, medical degree and all applicants must meet a health, character and age requirement.
Demand for this profession: Doctor On Demand, the next generation telemedicine provider, announced today that United-healthcare has selected Doctor On Demand as one of the first provider groups for virtual visits. Starting immediately, Doctor On Demand will be an in-network provider to UnitedHealthcare commercial members. Virtual visits are available to select UnitedHealthcare self-funded customers in 2015, and will expand to most Unitedhealthcare commercial members in 2016. Member co-pays for virtual visits will be equal to or less than office visits, depending on the benefit plan.
