I think this statement means that whatever you or other people think is right or wrong, doesn’t take away from what it truly should be qualified as. Even though a group of people may think something is right, it may truly be wrong. An example of this is that if all your friends think smoking pot is a right thing to do doesn’t mean it really is right. Another example of this is that if everyone is for lowering the price on drugs doesn’t make it right.

I think that this statement means that whatever your goal is in life, you don't need to sacrifice it for what you want now. Set goals for yourself and try to accomplish them. This will pay off in the long run like it did for Peter.

Choosing a good name

I think that this statement means that if you are a good person than everyone will know you as a good person and that is more important than being rich. You need to set a good example of yourself so people can know you. However if you are really rich, than you are most likely going to be selfish and greedy. An example of this is that if you win the lottery, then that will change you from a good person to a greedy person. However, if you are a good person and do good deeds, everyone will know you as a nice person and have a good name for yourself. Having a good name for yourself is more important than being rich.

I believe that this statement means that if your friends tell you to do something that you know isn’t good, you should not do it. Just because they’re your friends doesn’t mean you should listen to them. If you stand for right you will be the light for others to follow. An example of this is that if your friend told you to do drugs, you should think twice and say “no” because it’s the right thing to do. Even if you’re only the one making that decision, eventually others will follow.

What i think this quote is trying to say is that if you set your goal, eventually you will achieve them. If you have a goal and you have a plan then there is nothing to stop you. If you create a foundation for your goal ultimately you will end up reaching it. Set a goal for yourself and if you keep working at it then you will be successful.
An example is that if you set a goal for yourself you will find that
you will eventually get there. You just have to work hard and not fool around.  Don't let anybody stop you of your goal.
